Stanley Beck, Chairman of the Board
Stanley M. Beck is President of Granville Arbitrations Limited which provides arbitration and mediation services in commercial and labour disputes. Mr. Beck serves as a Director of a number of Canadian corporations and as Chairman of the Board of GMP Capital Corp. and of the 407 ETR Concession Company Ltd. Mr. Beck was Professor of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School from 1967 to 1990 and was Dean from 1977 to 1982.
Mr. Beck specialized in corporate and securities law and was the author of numerous articles, case comments and contributions to books on corporate and securities law. From 1984 to 1989, Mr. Beck served as Chair of the Ontario Securities Commission.
Ken Teslia
Ken Teslia brings over 25 years of senior institutional capital markets experience. During that time he has served as a Director for RBC Dominion Securities and Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Teslia was a partner and Director at GMP Securities. Most recently he is a founding partner and director of Extreme Venture Partners.
Mr. Teslia obtained his MBA in 1985 from York University.
Ray Sharma
Ray Sharma is presently engaged in the evolution of mobile games developer XMG Studio Inc. Ray is also Chairman of Xtreme Labs, a leading mobile and Internet software development lab as well as a co-founder of Extreme Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on seed funding. Ray is also an appointee to the Judicial Council of Ontario. Previously, Ray spent 10 years in the investment banking industry as a top-ranked research analyst specializing in wireless technologies. Ray brings a diversity of capital markets experience and perspective, having split his time working at a leading international investment bank (CDFB Tech Group), a large domestic bank dealer (BMO Nesbitt Burns), as well as Canada’s top performing boutique (GMP Capital Trust).
Dr. Sanjeev Sharma
Dr. Sharma is the CEO of Wellpoint Health Services. He is an Emergency Physician and has almost 15 years of experience in healthcare including medical devices, biotechnology, and public policy with global firms such as Baxter Healthcare, EMCI and Microsoft. Dr. Sharma has spent 10 years working with Canadian healthcare stakeholders, including both the Federal and provincial governments, to develop policies on improvement of healthcare delivery.
Dr. Sharma is a graduate of Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University, and a Master of Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University. Dr. Sharma completed his post graduate medical training at the University of Toronto, and upon graduation was almost immediately appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.
Dr. Sharma has provided his expertise to numerous organizations in his tenure. He sat on the Editorial Advisory Board on Advance for Health Information Executives Journal Information Technology Association of Canada National Health Steering Committee, and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise Canada.
